Find out about the activities at our four stars campsite in Normandy

L’Espérance campsite welcomes families (and groups) all year round and offers a certain number of activities for both young and old in the Cotentin region. Watch your children have fun at the extremely safe playground and on the various obstacles. You will also find on site a putting course, the inescapable french bowls, pétanque, a ping-pong table and equipment as well as the recently created home-ball. Children and parents can challenge each other and see who has the right to decide what to do in the evening in Normandy.

Enjoy many activities with your children at the campsite

The four star campsite L’Espérance has been given the Famille Plus label for the quality of its hospitality towards families and its facilities and their safety. Your children can therefore play without any restrictions apart from the ones you impose on them and you can let them enjoy their holidays without any worries. What’s more, all the activities and events organised by the campsite are free so can be used without moderation. Book your accommodation!

The campsite has a two-part playground where the structures follow playground safety standards and are suitable for young children as well as older ones looking for physical challenges.

Find out about our putting course

Our putting course is suitable for children and will introduce them to this game of precision and patience.

There are six holes to play, either in teams or individually.

The children’s water park

Our heated indoor swimming pool is equipped with a paddling pool with fun water activities and a slide that allows young children to get used to water in complete safety. We also have our giant slide for older children looking for something stronger on the Cote des Isles area. 

What events are there for children?

In July and August your children can enjoy themselves at events supervised by our specially-trained teams.

They will find a bouncy castle, organised outdoor games and regular events like shows.

Activities for all the family in Normandy

The campsite welcomes families and friends as well as groups of hikers. You can thus count on tennis, ping pong, home ball, evening events and the classic french pastime of pétanque and a cold drink for entertainment.

A ping-pong table

Ping-pong is technical and edgy and is one of the most fun activities to play one against one or in teams. By playing tournaments until you’re breathless, you can do your daily exercise in no time at all.

A pétanque area

With your friends or family you can organise matches of the french bowls game pétanque day or night. You can even challenge some of the other campers and see if you can beat them at their own game.

Sports activities

Whether you are an experienced sportsman or an amateur, you will appreciate the presence of sports activities. To continue your training or resume your favourite activity, check out the sports activities at the reception desk.

Home-Ball area

Experience a new sport concept where the ball never leaves the field!  Homeball Hand or Homeball Foot, organise your matches with friends or family. Fun and relaxation guaranteed!

Events to liven up your evenings

In July and August life on the campsite is punctuated by a series of evening events that create a convivial family atmosphere at L’Espérance at no extra cost to you. Meet the other campers and enjoy their company.

Spend time together as a family

Go to the bathing area, the home-ball area or the pétanque area together to have fun and create great memories as a family. Alternatively you can go to the bar to have an ice-cream after a busy day at the beach. The Normandy air will make you hungry for open spaces, local produce and happy moments.

Enjoy our large bathing area with an indoor swimming pool heated by solar panels and a large outdoor pool. Relax in our balneotherapy area and rediscover the pleasures of taking care of yourselves in Normandy.
